Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

IronGauge is a service operated by Asset Linchpin LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. It is written to align with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and comparable US state privacy laws.

Data we collect

  • Account data — name, company, email address, and authentication identifiers you provide when signing up.
  • Client-submitted data — the equipment records and supporting files you upload for benchmarking.
  • Payment metadata — order references and status from our payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and log data needed to operate the Site securely.
  • Cookies and similar storage — see our Cookie Policy.

How we use it

  • To deliver the benchmark report you purchased.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • To send transactional emails (order confirmation, delivery, support).
  • To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR)

We rely on contract to deliver the service you buy, legitimate interests to keep the Site secure and improve it, consent for non-essential cookies and any marketing communications, and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing) under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep account and client data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy legal and accounting requirements. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@irongauge.com. EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
